Fitness has never really been a part of my life. In high school, I stayed in shape with competitive cheerleading and a really fast metabolism. But since I've been with my boyfriend (four years and going strong) I've put on some weight—partly because he's an amazing cook and partly because I feel so comfortable in my skin when I'm with him. I've never been a size zero, nor do I ever want to be. I like my curves! What I'm really looking to do during these eight weeks is to change my lifestyle and make better choices.
My life has already changed drastically since I started working at SPIN Fitness last year. I got certified, passed my Assessment, and I now teach Spinning classes once a week! Although I feel completely out-of-shape when I try to run, lift weights or do just about any other form of exercise, I'm a different person on a Spinner bike. I feel strong—like I can accomplish anything. Best of all, I actually have fun!
I know that with the support of my coworkers, my boyfriend and my doggie Bella (who accompanies me to work every day), I can become a healthier, more fit me.
